Wire Stripping Solutions

Induction heating provides a method of rapidly removing electrical varnishes and surface coatings from electrical conductors.

We provide this solution in a hand-held gun or bench-mounted form which can be adapted to single or multiple strands of round, square or rectangular wire.

While rapid and simultaneous induction heating of the individual conductors elevates their temperature, the insulating enamel on the wires is softened for removal.

During the heating time, fumes are drawn into the unit and passed through a multi-stage extraction system.

In either unit, an adjustable ‘backstop’ is used to set the strip length. A vacuum extraction system removes debris.

Our design ensures that all conductors in a bunch are equally heated, and allows a few seconds for the system to draw off residual fumes. A clean, bright finish can be produced with a quick, light brushing.

Your Advantages with Induction Heating:

  • Rapid removal of varnish resulting in a significant reduction in process time

  • Improved electrical performance of crimped joins after cleaning

  • Reduction of debris contamination in the working environment, resulting in a cleaner more environmentally friendly process

  • Does not reduce the cross sectional area of wire

Every day, we provide new and repeat customers induction solutions for their process challenges.

Convenient, easy-to-use hand-held gun system, supplied with a spring loaded ‘balancing’ unit

The results - conductors are left in a locally annealed state, ideal for any method of termination
